Nieuw Prinsenland
Everyone enjoys attractive surroundings. That is why this circle was aligned in 2021 with the landscape vision for Nieuw Prinsenland, the agro and food cluster where the Cosun Beet Company’s head office and one of the sugar factories is located. We are looking for opportunities in the immediate vicinity of the factory that are not only attractive, but also useful, initiatives that enhance the resilience of the ecosystems.
Biodiversity app
A resilient ecosystem includes agricultural and other insects that we wish to welcome to our area. To determine whether these insects are present – and, of course, to discover any undesirable insects – we are expanding the ObsIdentify app with agricultural and other sectors we would like to have in our area because they can contribute to biodiversity and natural disease control.
