Our Beet Cultivation: Once Again FSA 3.0 Gold
At Cosun Beet Company, sustainability is not just an ambition—it’s a daily reality. For years, our growers have been working in accordance with the high standards of the international Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) from the SAI Platform. This year, our sugar beet cultivation once again meets the highest level: FSA 3.0 Gold.
Our FSA recognition is based on existing cultivation certifications, such as TopCrop. The requirement for certification is laid down in the supply agreement with our growers. A certification like TopCrop guarantees food-safe and sustainable beet cultivation. Since TopCrop has been officially benchmarked against FSA 3.0, it meets the sustainability requirements of the FSA.
This approach has been approved by the SAI Platform, an international organization of food companies that develops standards for sustainable agriculture. Their recognition demonstrates that our method is reliable, efficient, and future-proof.
